About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis and help deliver innovative technology solutions from concept to completion. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and executional excellence. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable gathering business requirements, writing user stories, and managing cross-functional teams through full project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Engage stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, use cases, process flows, and technical documentation
- Work closely with UX/UI, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met
- Assist in product design decisions and ensure the solution aligns with business goals
Project Management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Drive project execution from kickoff through delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and scope are managed
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and escalate when necessary
- Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communication
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 5–10 years experience in a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst role (or similar)
- Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid project methodologies
- Proven ability to write clear, detailed business and technical documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with project management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, MS Project, ClickUp, Smartsheet)
- Experience working with product managers, designers, engineers, QA, and executive stakeholders
- Technical background or familiarity with software development lifecycles is a plus
